Large golden yellow flowers are not only beautiful, but also quite hardy and drought tolerant. Plant in either sun or partial shade, and water normally for best results. Crocus bulbs are also excellent attractors of beneficial bees, butterflies, and birds.
Crocus look very effective when planted in drifts and clusters to make them look as natural as possible. Combination planting with other bulbs will give your displays more longevity.
Use in naturalised areas such as grass land and woodlands and in and around roses and shrubs. The richly coloured flowers make excellent container displays.
